Neurological Conditions or Diseases Treated
Dr. Burnham is delighted to announce she has her own EMG machine and offers nerve conduction/EMG studies in her office. These studies can be arranged without a previous consultation visit—all that is required is a simple referral stating the limb(s) to be studied and the patient’s clinical problem(s). Having a nerve conduction/EMG study performed at Dr. Burnham’s office avoids the facility fee that occurs when such a study is done in a hospital setting. Since Dr. Burnham only sees outpatient
neurology patients (she spends no time
in the hospital itself), her focus is on
prompt outpatient consultations. If you
have a patient that needs to be
evaluated quickly, please contact the
office and notify the staff of the
situation. Additionally, Dr. Burnham
makes a priority of mailing consultation
notes, promptly.
